Aesthetics devices
Profacial micro-suction cleanser
This smart device extracts oil, dirt and dead skin cells gently and safely to a degree far greater than manual cleansing processes can achieve, preparing the skin for a medi-facial application.
Plasma shower
The handheld device uses advanced technology to generate plasma energy which enhances the treatment in multiple ways. The smooth head of the device (about the size of a 10p coin) is moved over the skin surface and feels pleasantly warm to the touch. The technique makes the skin ultra receptive to serums that can penetrate the skin layers and deliver nutrients right into the dermis. It triggers the body’s healing mechanism to generate new skin cells, elastin and collagen and is anti-bacterial and ideal for acne. It also reduces pigmentation and inflammation.
Microneedling
The benefits of electronic microneedling – creating tiny channels in the skin – are well known in the field of aesthetic medicine. Again, this method allows delivery of the treatment products deep into the skin layers and stimulates new cell production. The technique is highly effective, but less comfortable than the Plasma shower, creating a prickly feeling on the skin as the device passes over. It may leave some redness for a few hours afterwards. But most of our patients find it entirely tolerable and love the results.
