1. Refine – Make subtle improvements
   Fine-tune your appearance through light, precise adjustments that soften features and create greater facial harmony. Examples of this: correct mild facial asymmetry where one side has less volume or smooth a recessed chin.
2. Define – Create stronger facial contours
   Enhance your natural contours and structure, bringing shape, balance, and definition to your existing facial features. Examples of this: sharpen cheekbones, chisel jawline, augment jaw angle, lip enhancement, and ‘masculinisation’.
3. Redefine – Restore what time has changed
   Restore and recreate definition that has diminished over time, helping to counteract age-related volume loss and changes in facial structure. Examples of this: age or diet-related volume loss, sagging – drooping eyelids, jowls, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, under-eye hollows.

ADVANCED MULTI-LAYER TECHNIQUE

Facial sculpting is the process of injecting (FDA-approved) dermal fillers – gel-like substances of different viscosities – to areas of the face to restore or increase volume and lift. At the Norup Clinic, we have developed a precise method of application, using specific fillers and techniques through the different layers of the facial structure. We achieve reassuringly predictable and consistent results that are sustainable over time.

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

During your appointment a numbing ‘anaesthetic’ cream will be applied which takes 20 minutes or so to take effect. You will be made comfortable in our reception area while you wait. Dermal fillers are applied using multiple tiny injections or a cannula, a round-tipped tool that is a useful alternative to a needle and causes less impact or potential bruising.
Duration of treatment: Approximately 1 hour.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

There may be some downtime after your treatment depending on the amount of work undertaken and the sensitivity of your skin. You may experience some:

• Redness
• Swelling
• Discomfort or tenderness
• Bruising

RESULTS

Results can be seen immediately in most cases and will continue to develop for up to 6 weeks after treatment as new collagen and elastin cells are formed.

SAFETY

Dermal fillers are FDA approved and suitable for most people but it is important that they are injected by a trained and accredited professional following a formal consultation.
