Concern

Lorraine came to see Dr Norup with regards to the general ageing of her appearance and with a thread lift in mind. Whilst the thread lift gives a definitive lift to sagging skin especially where the ageing muscle structure is being drawn downwards by gravity, during her consultation, Dr Norup felt that the underlying structure of Lorraine’s face was in good shape and that better results could be achieved purely by using injectables.

Treatments

Dr Norup applied a combination of wrinkle-relaxing injections and dermal fillers to make subtle but effective changes to Lorraine’s face and neck. She also defined the lip line (vermilion border) by applying a lip filler to enhance and softly lift the upper and lower lip – the use of a dental anaesthetic made this a pain-free procedure.

Treatment Results

The eyebrows have been lowered slightly to adjust the original somewhat surprised expression. Small tweaks to the mid face and corners of the mouth enhance the overall facial structure, and a clear difference can be seen to the nose to mouth lines, marionette lines and jawline – now lifted and firmer reducing the beginnings of jowls. The skin to the neck has been rejuvenated using a skin booster smoothing deep set lines and improving the skin tone and texture overall.
