TECHNIQUE
After an initial consultation, to assess your medical health and which muscles should be treated, a number of micro-injections are performed. A short, micro-thin needle is used to inject small quantities of the substance, very superficially under the skin into the muscle. The needle is very fine and the experience feels like tiny pin-pricks, which most patients find entirely bareable, otherwise anaesthetic cream can be applied.

PROCEDURE TIME
The assessment and procedure take no more than 30 minutes
DOWNTIME
Discomfort and downtime is minimal. There may be minor redness which subsides within minutes. You can return to normal activities but should avoid intense exercise and alcohol for 24 hours following treatment.

Results
The treatment takes approximately 2 weeks to take full effect with a visible smoothing and reduction in wrinkles. After your first procedure a “top-up” or adjustment is recommended after 2 weeks to fine-tune the results. Results typically last 3 to 4 months for most patients.**
