Rosacea Skin Treatment

At last – a Rosacea specific treatment

What is rosacea?

Up to 1 in 10 people experience rosacea. A chronic inflammatory skin condition, it is characterised by redness, visible blood vessels and small red bumps, sometimes mistaken for acne, eczema or even allergies. It most often manifests in the middle third of the face across the cheeks and nose, but can also cause eye issues and a thickening of the skin on the nose.

As a chronic condition, it tends to come and go and can be dormant for a while, then flare-up exacerbated by any number of factors including dehydration, alcohol, spicy foods, stress and the menopause. It affects both sexes but is generally more prevalent in women.

Because it is on-going and considered incurable, flare-ups require treatment to calm and balance the skin, followed by ongoing maintenance with specific topical products to reduce the inflammatory effect and address sebum control.

The definitive new treatment package

Dr Norup has put together a dedicated treatment package to bring relief from rosacea by specifically targeting the key symptoms to reduce sebum production, soothe and calm your skin helping to restore natural balance. This package includes:

  • Hydrafacial
Gentle and effective deep cleansing to remove excess oil, impurities and dead skin cells
  • Plasma Shower
An outstanding new treatment that destroys bacteria, lessens inflammation and reduces sebum production by 25%. It stimulates and refreshes the skin restoring balance
  • Mesotherapy Serum
Selected according to your skin type, topically applied and – thanks to the Plasma Shower effect – absorbed deeply into the skin’s layers
  • LED light therapy mask
With a choice of colours to deliver a range of effects, LED light calms inflammation and improves the complexion
